Thermal Plasma Pyrolysis
Thermal Plasma Pyrolysis is technological breakthrough in Plasma physics from the Czech Academy of Science department The Institute of Plasma Physics (IPP) to covert CO2, Methane, Nitrogen and other gas compounds into Nano Carbon Black (98% purity) and hydrogen. Calvert Environmental Solutions and Czech Academy of Science have appointed Calvert Gas Solutions to commercializing this technology starting in 2025.

As a one-step system, the TPP technology coupled with Calvert Monobloc FT reactor transforms 100% of biogas, flare or strayed gas with CO2 and H2s into Hydrogen/CO to e-SAF, e-Methanol and Nano Carbon Black. 

The TPP system is also 100% self powered, so no external power is needed (except during startup), TPP technology has no Catalyst, no waste bi-product, modular, scalable and mobile. It is an ideal solution for offshore & onshore applications.

CalGreen® is innovative, patented pyrolysis process operating
since 2003.

CalGreen® pyrolysis process is based on Autothermal Plasma & Electrically heated screw conveyor, designed for advanced thermal treatment in temperatures up to 800 degrees C and beyond. Processed product temperature is precisely controlled basing on the temperature settings. The dwell time of material inside CalGreen® reactor is regulated by screw rotation speed. Thermal conversion is performed in oxygen-free (pyrolysis) atmosphere in unique construction of equipment, which guarantees a constant quality of product obtain from treatment.

BIOMASS

CalGreen© is a simple and flexible pyrolysis solution to produce biofuels, biochar, oil, solid fuels and syngas from your biomass residues.

Torrefaction

CalGreen© is a solution for biomass torrefaction and carbonization. It takes several minutes in a temperature range between 200°C to 400°C to densify energy of biomass. The treated material will lose weight (around 20-30%) and become brittle. Carbonisation and torrefaction in CalGreen® produce quality charcoal and excellent solid fuels.

Pyrolysis

CalGreen® pyrolysis process can be operated between 400°C up to high temperatures beyond 1200°C. The controlled process provides quality solid products: biochar recycle carbon black and Manny others. Pyrolysis oil finds interest as a liquid for chemical industries and refining substrate. Hydrogen or Syngas is excellent fuel for energy production, heating or transportation.

CalGreen® technology allows gasification as well as high-temperature pyrolysis (beyond 800°C) treatment. High-temperature conversion leads to the maximum production of  energy gas which calorific value can be in the range between 10 to 30 MJ/m3. After clean up process, generated gas can be applied as valuable fuel for electricity or syngas
